Since its original publication, A Woman's Way through the Twelve Steps has transformed the way women experience recovery by offering a gender-responsive approach that honors women's strengths, relationships, and unique life experiences. This special anniversary edition builds on that legacy with updated content, expanded perspectives, and powerful new stories that reflect the diversity of women in recovery today.

During this engaging and interactive evening, Dr. Covington will explore the philosophy behind A Woman's Way and discuss why the Twelve Steps continue to be a meaningful pathway to healing for so many women. She will share insights from the newly revised edition, highlight stories of resilience and transformation, and demonstrate several of the experiential exercises from the accompanying Participant Workbook and Facilitator Guide.

The women whose voices are woven throughout this edition represent a rich diversity of experiences, identities, and recovery journeys. Their stories reflect differences in age, race and ethnicity, culture, faith, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic background, family roles, geographic location, and pathways to recovery.
